This Privacy Information Notice sets out the steps that AFYX Therapeutics A/S (“AFYX”) takes to ensure that any information regarding personal data provided to AFYX is kept secure and confidential and is used only for the purposes for which it is provided.

1. How we obtain your personal data and how we use it

  • Attend or register to attend our events
  • Supply products or services to AFYX
  • Have applied to work for AFYX, or are current or former employee of AFYX, or have contracted to work for or on behalf of AFYX

  • Identity Data, which may include your first name, last name, username or similar identifier
  • Contact Data, which may include your email address, postal address and telephone number(s).
  • Technical Data, which may include internet protocol (IP) address, type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access our websites.

AFYX collects personal data from you (Identity Data and Contact Data) when you contact us.

We will use this personal data:

  • To help solve any issues you might be facing. The lawful basis for processing your personal data for this purpose will be “contractual need”.

Attendees or registrants to attend our events

AFYX collects personal data from you (Identity Data and Contact Data) when you attend or register to one of our events. We will use this personal data:

  • To carry out obligations arising from being a registered attendee of our event. The lawful basis for processing your personal data for this purpose will be “legitimate interest”.

Companies who supply products or services to AFYX

AFYX collects personal data from you (Identity Data and Contact Data) when you supply products or services to AFYX. We will use this personal data:

  • To carry out obligations arising from you providing us products or services. The lawful basis for processing your personal data for this purpose will be “contractual need”.

Individuals who have applied to work for AFYX

AFYX collects personal data from you when you apply to work for AFYX. The lawful basis for processing your personal data for this purpose will be “contractual need” and no later than at the time of collection you will be informed of how we process and use your data in this regard.

Individuals who are current or former employees of AFYX or have contracted to work for AFYX

AFYX collects personal data from you when you work for AFYX. Proper information has been given to you at the time of collection and can be found in your local version of ‘Personal Data Protection Notice for Employees’. The lawful basis for the processing of your personal data in this regard is:

  • “Contractual need” with regard to enable us to employ, pay and manage your work.
  • “Vital interests” in case of true emergencies (a matter of life and death) when we will utilize your emergency contact details.
  • “Compliance with legal obligations” with regard to enable us to comply with applicable tax, employment and health and safety laws.

2. Disclosure and transfer of personal data

The personal data will not be disclosed to or shared with 3. Parties.

2.2 Making personal data available to data processors

We make personal data available to our business partners, including IT suppliers that stores and process personal data on our behalf. Such business partners and suppliers are subject to AFYX’s instructions regarding the storing and processing of personal data. Further, it is AFYX’s responsibility that storing and processing is in accordance with the data privacy legislation

3. Retention period

We store the personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above.

  • Contact information details and details of inquiry is stored for a maximum of 12 months after the inquiry has been answered

4. Your rights

  • You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold and process regarding you.
  • Further, you have the right to request us to rectify any personal data on you that might be incorrect, as well as the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • You may request to receive any personal data on you that you provided to us.
  • Upon your request we will erase personal data on you, unless we have a legal basis for continuing the processing.
  • You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, such as the Danish Data Protection Agency.
